My mom, Diane Daley, arrived at the Rome Abraham House in April of 2021. She was transported directly from St Lukes, after a discussion with her doctors indicated that comfort care was in order. From the moment she arrived and was put in the “Green Room” with me by her side, the process of “dying” became more of a process of “living and loving every moment.”
I was able with the amazing staff to give my Mom a wonderful journey to her next stop…I was able to hold her and sing with her and relive old memories. The staff became family during our stay and I couldn’t have done it without them. To say there are angels on earth is so true and the Abraham House is filled with them.
On behalf of myself and Diane’s entire family, we will be eternally grateful that we were able to give my Mom such an amazing final 2 weeks of what was left of her life here on earth.
