Have you ever run the Boilermaker before? I tried but had to drop down to the 5K due to an injury.
If so, which race and how many years? I’ve done six 5Ks. I’ve signed up several times for the 15K but had issues with my hip and a pelvic fracture.
What race are you choosing to participate in this year? 15K (fingers crossed!)
What made you decide to run on behalf of Abraham House? I am a current Board Member and my aunt was a guest several years ago. Abraham House provides such support and love, so to raise awareness by running is my way to give back, and it’s also motivating me.
What’s the best part of running the Boilermaker? A beer, or maybe a seltzer after the race? But if I can do the 15K, that’s a big accomplishment and will be the best part.
