The Utica Mayor’s Benefit Gala is excited to continue its mission to enhance the quality of life for families and individuals living and working in our great community. This year, Mayor Galime and his wife, Jody, have chosen Abraham House as the recipient of the 2026 Mayor’s Benefit Gala.

About The Abraham House

Abraham House operates social model hospice homes in Utica and Rome, NY. As a nonprofit organization, it is dedicated to providing free, compassionate, end-of-life care in a secure, loving, home-like setting. Guests receive 24-hour physical, emotional, and spiritual support from surrogate caregivers who are both highly trained and deeply compassionate.

Serving an average of 145 guests and their families each year, Abraham House removes the financial burden of care by offering services entirely free of charge. The organization relies solely on community support and donations to sustain its mission and maintain its homes. With a bold vision to operate 10 homes by 2035, Abraham House continues to expand its impact through the generosity of the local community.
