Abraham House Seeking Donations for Summer Appeal Campaign

Abraham House is seeking donations for their Summer Appeal Campaign to cover expenses for operating their house for the terminally ill.  It costs Abraham House $12,000 a month for utilities, building repairs, insurance and staffing. Abraham House does not receive any Federal, State or United Way funding or insurance reimbursement for the around the clock care they provide to the terminally ill.   Abraham House relies solely on the generosity of the community to allow them to continue to provide this secure and loving home without charge to the terminally ill. Abraham House has a target goal of $18,000. All donations are tax deductible and are welcomed no matter the amount.

Sponsor a Fundraiser!

If you are associated with a school, college student activity club, church or business, please consider Abraham House as your charity of choice in your fundraising efforts.
  • Some suggested fundraisers could be:
  • donating pennies/change
  • a bake sale
  • dress down day at work
  • sponsoring a talent show or a band at a local bar or restaurant, a breakfast, luncheon or dinner
  • a walk or run
  • organize a garage sale, craft fair or plant sale
  • and/or designate Abraham House as your charity at your wedding, retirement, birthday or anniversary party
You could sell our hummingbird chocolate lollipops, air fresheners; hug scarves, wreaths or other items for us. Please call us if you have an interest in sponsoring a fundraiser or to see what items we have available to sell to your group or community.

 

Calling All Crafters! Fine Arts & Craft Fall Fair Fundraiser, October 16th at Our Lady of Lourdes School

Saturday - October, 16th - Save the Date!

If you are interested in selling your art work or craft items, please call Marcella Asselta at 733-8210 for a vendor application. There is a special "Children's Booth Section" for children who would like to sell their craft items. Save the date and come do your holiday shopping early! Halloween costumes, crafts & Christmas decor available. Entertainment, raffles and a Chinese auction. Win a night out on the town in your own limo and dinner for two. Our Cafe features homemade food and a cookie walk. Children's activities include: face painting, decorating your own pumpkin & creating Halloween masks. Meet Elmo & Friends in person! More information to come as the date draws nearer.....
